Nova Victoria facade access scaffolding

Situated opposite Victoria station in the heart of London’s prestigious West End, Nova is an 897,000 square feet scheme, comprised of world class offices, contemporary apartments, restaurants, bars and retail space.

During the final stages of construction access was required to the façade for the installation of Szerelemy stonework.  RDG provided detail designs for an independent scaffold and due to space restrictions on the ground, a series of cantilevered scaffolds.  A bespoke gallows type bracket was designed for use with a NIKO lifting rail to position the stone into place.  A protection gantry with a pedestrian portal was installed along the street side, designed to sustain impact from falling debris.
